Weekend full immersion course - By the end of the weekend, you will gain an appreciation of the Spanish language and culture. You will be able to conduct some small talk: introduce yourself, talk about your family and your job.
Topics covered include:
- Greetings Greet people, give your name and ask how people are.
- Professions Ask and answer questions about your job; you will also be able to ask about and give your phone number.
- Nationalities and languages Say where you come from and give the language you speak; you will also be able to ask other people about these subjects.
- Family Talk about the people in your family (or, if you prefer, other people’s families) and say how old they are.
- Time and transport Tell the time and give days and months; you will also be able to ask for a ticket on public transport.
- Spanish culture The best way to understand a culture is to learn the language. Throughout the course you will learn about Spanish and Latin American culture and how Spanish people view the world.
This course is designed for adults (minimum age is 15). The class limit is 15 people. Course will run from 9.30am-2.30pm Saturday and Sunday (with 30-minute lunch break).
