Description

How to connect effectively across cultures

In New Zealand today, we probably have more contact with people from other cultures than ever before.  Those of us in business may well be dealing with contacts or substantial suppliers and customers overseas, while others may be working here in New Zealand with migrant clients and staff.  Those of us who are ourselves migrants to New Zealand may want to deepen our understanding in order to improve our professional status here.

Whatever our circumstances, we are confronted with a need to reconcile the differences between our ways of doing things and the ways adopted by people from other cultures.

Join us for this event featuring Euroasia director Kenneth Leong as he discusses the challenges Kiwis face, and practical ways to "get the message across".

Kenneth has a proven track record of facilitating business across cultures, from deal origination to execution of business opportunities as business owner, investor, director and business advisor. He is presently the Chairman of ASEAN New Zealand Business Council and a trustee of Auckland Foundation. Prior to founding Euroasia in 2004, Kenneth worked in the Auckland offices of a global investment bank and for a multinational consulting firm.
